Known at times as “Maxi” for her uncanny ability to move things from average to superb, Kris is the creative force behind Abbey Rd. Catering, where she started the business over 19 years ago. She is a natural team-builder where she has built the uncompromising brand by seeking out the best inside of others.

Kris got her start in the hospitality world by working a summer college intern job in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. There she worked as a concierge during the day and as a banquet server in the evening for the Hyatt Regency Hotel. It didn’t take long for her to realize that she had found her passion — the natural desire to make other people happy through food and service. She then returned to Norman to finish her degree in Communications. After college, she ended up in Belize, CA working at a Western Caribbean Resort. After returning to the states, she continued to hone her high level of customer service by working in some of the most up-scale restaurants and businesses.

Since that time, Kris has been on a mission to be personally known as a symbol of hospitality. Led by her need for excellence, frequent interactions, and being a strength seeker, Kris continues to serve her team with her core values — friendship, teamwork, consistency, respect and dependability.

When she’s not executing an event or supporting her other division, Abbey Rd. University Cuisine, you will find Kris and her husband supporting their three daughters. She also has a passion for giving back to the community that she was raised in through Assistance League Norman and other charities.
